There are many ways to make money from you savings. You work for the money, but money can also work for you, everyday!

Banks pays you interests for depositing/saving your money in your savings account. Why would they do that? They use your money to give out loans to other people. The interest rates varies from bank to bank and we recommend to contact your local banks and figure out who gives you the highest interest.

If the above way to save up cash isn’t suitable for you, read on.

To start saving some money, follow this simple guidelines.

1.Pay off your credit card debt.

This is one of the golden rules, get rid of the credit card debt. Plan to clear your expensive debts first such as your credit card debts. They look like you’ve got easy money and low interest on credit cards but if you’re not able to pay it back monthly you’ll face high interests and loss of savings.

2.Control fuel and electricity usage.

We are facing energy crisis, the energy/fuel companies are allowed to increase the bills up to 10.4% in some countries whenever they want. In the United Kingdom, the average electricity and fuel costs up to £1,500 a month! Reduce your usage, save electricity and go for a walk if your destination is close.

3.The super markets!

Go to a local market stall instead of a super market. Super markets sell you the strawberries for “Half-Price” that aren’t even half price. The local stalls usually gives you the same quality for quarter of the price. Remember, the super markets tries to make the profit out of you while local stalls are way better when compared to super markets.

4.Sell off your unused stuff on eBay.

How many clothes would you haven’t used for 2 years exist in your home? The old furniture in the store room, just sell it off on eBay. It’s the world’s biggest online store and a great place for selling off old stuff.

5.Know your talents! Make some extra cash!

Are you a good musician? A good singer? Show off your talents in the internet world if you don’t like work in the real world. Advertise your talents on freelancing sites and earn cash while improving your talents. You could make easily 20 £ an hour If you’ve got enough talent.

6.Book early, at least a noteworthy time before you go for a trip!

You can get your tickets for your flight or train for a cheaper price if you’ve booked it early. Low-cost airlines are eventually developing in many countries. Always plan before you make a trip and this should help you.

You should’ve got some idea about saving your money already. Like we’ve discussed above, invest your savings on a reliable thing. Definitely, not on virtual currency or gambling. Something more reliable like banks, property. They can save you in bad times and banks can keep you making money with your deposit. The golden rule is all about saving and investing the money to make more money.
